Delivered Value Fields With Fixed Meaning
Definition
You can change the properties (such as the long and short text, or the column width to be reserved to display the value contained in the value field) of value fields delivered by SAP for Strategy Management. The data defined in the value fields and its meaning is fixed however.

Balanced Scorecard and Risk Management.
Structure
The following value fields are available in the Balanced Scorecard function:
- The score value field (technical name
SCORE): This value field stores a figure as the score of a scorecard element. The following display conventions apply:
- If the score is not defined, a dash "-" is displayed
- If the scorecard element does not produce a score, nothing is displayed
- The trend value field (technical name
TREND): This field stores the trend indicator, which is displayed as symbols. The trend indicator is derived from the score of a scorecard element in the current and previous periods (taking periodization into account) The following display conventions apply:
- If the system cannot calculate the trend indicator (because at least one of the scores to be compared is missing, or one of the periods cannot be evaluated due to the periodization), a minus symbol is displayed.
- If the scorecard element does not produce a score, nothing is displayed
- The value field for the user-defined status (technical name
OSTATUS): This value field stores the status of a scorecard element, as defined by the responsible person. The following display conventions apply:
- If the status of the scorecard element is not entered manually by the user, the value field is empty
- If the period selected cannot be evaluated due to the periodization, a minus symbol is displayed
- The value field for the system-generated status (technical name
GSTATUS): This value field stores the status of a scorecard element, as calculated by the system. The following display conventions apply:
- If automatic status determination is not executed for the scorecard element, the value field is empty
- If the period selected cannot be evaluated due to the periodization, a minus symbol is displayed
- The value field for the availability of assessments and comments (technical name
ASSESSMENT): This value field stores shows whether assessments and comments were stored for a scorecard element. The following display conventions apply:
- If no assessment was stored yet, the incomplete symbol is displayed
- If an assessment was stored, the OK symbol is displayed
- If at least one comment was stored, the number of stored comments is displayed in brackets
- If the period selected cannot be evaluated due to the periodization, a minus symbol is displayed

- If the risk score is not defined, a dash "-" is displayed

- If the scorecard element does not produce a risk status, nothing is displayed
