Procedure documentation Defining Exception Rules for Recurring Appointments  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

If you want the recurrence pattern for a recurring reservation to be invalid in certain cases (for example, on public holidays), you define an exception rule.

Prerequisites

You defined a valid rule for the recurring reservation.

Procedure

       1.      In the RE Navigator (RE80), choose Object Overview. In the dropdown list, choose Recurring Reservation and enter the reservation, for which you want create an exception rule.

       2.      In the Appointment group box, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Create Rule.

       3.      Define the recurrence pattern and the validity of the exception rule.

       4.      If the valid recurrence pattern does not apply for public holidays, then select a public holiday calendar. Then set the Holiday indicator in the Recurrence Patterngroup box.

       5.      Set the Exceptions indicator.

       6.      Save your settings.
