When you request a service from SAP, any information that you submit in any one country or language may be sent electronically to a server in another country. Therefore, the information may be used, stored, or processed outside the country where it was recorded.

However, SAP safeguards your data-security interests around the world by ensuring that all SAP sites adhere to our international privacy principles.

Registration for SAP partner/third-party services

On the SAP Service Marketplace, you may choose to fill out a registration form to request or order a service from an SAP partner or from a third-party vendor who is not typically affiliated with SAP. When you request one of these services, SAP may have to transfer some of your registration data to the partner or third-party vendor.

If you provide us with your e-mail address, we will forward it to a partner or third-party service provider only if you specifically ask for a certain service and if the service cannot be provided without your e-mail address.

The SAP Service Marketplace contains order forms that you fill out to request information, products, and services. These forms may collect financial information, such as your banking or credit card details. Any financial information that you submit is used solely for billing and payment purposes.

SAP supports secure server technology to ensure that all online financial transactions are safe. The server technology used on the SAP Service Marketplace encrypts your personal financial information before it is transmitted over the Internet. That means information such as your name and credit card number is protected in a secret code until we receive them.
