Get and Review SAP Best Practices

Before you start, download SAP Best Practices both documentation and the required Add-Ons from the SAP Service Marketplace. For more information, see How to Get SAP Best Practices.

Go to the section Business Information and review the documentation there. This section shows the big picture and contains overviews of scenarios and process flows. It also shows the details, step-by-step process descriptions and procedure documents. These documents can be used both as a starting point for testing and for end-user training.

Business needs vary. SAP Best Practices offers a variety of preconfigured business scenarios covering key functional areas like accounting, materials management, sales, manufacturing and service. Choose the scenarios that are right for you.

SAP Best Practices allows a personalization of the Enterprise Structure during activation and an update of the Mapping Document and some Business Process Documentation (BPD) based on the personalized Enterprise Structure.

Use the SAP Best Practices Documentation Adaptation to update the mapping document and BPDs with the personalized values. Specify the folder with the personalized installation data files downloaded from the Solution Builder.
