SAP Best Practices for E-Commerce with SAP ERP will be installed on top of an already configured SAP ERP system. Therefore no new central master data objects like customers or products are created by SAP Best Practices for E-Commerce but existing master data objects have to be used.

In case an SAP Best Practices package has been installed in advance in the ERP system, the section Master Data on the documentation DVD of this package will provide information about the utilizable sample master data for SAP Best Practices for E-Commerce. In addition, a so-called Delta Guide which is assigned to the Configuration Guide of SAP Best Practices for E-Commerce describes the master data that is recommended using SAP Best Practices for E-Commerce in combination with the latest Baseline package.
