SAP Business All-in-One solutions are delivered with a
set
of roles. Roles allow the use
of business role-specific user menus and transactions. The following
documents have been compiled to support you with roles and authorizations:
- Standard user roles:
SAP Best Practices deliver a set of user roles, that can be used for
navigation using NetWeaver Business Client. These additional
roles are delivered with the SAP Best Practices Add-On, like BP-ERP.
- Roles and authorizations strategy: The strategic approach to roles and
authorizations is outlined in the "SAPC-MMPS Roles and Authorizations
Strategy", found in the ASAP Focus area. This document defines the
approach used to
plan, prepare, and implement end user roles and authorizations. It also
defines the critical issues and outlines the key dependencies.
- How to use or change roles and authorizations:
SAP Best Practices has created the SAP Business All-in-One enablement
kit. The enablement kit provides documentation to support
partners with enhanced user
experience features such as roles or POWER lists. The enablement kit
can be downloaded from the SAP Service Marketplace - Software Download
Center.
