  • Download the installation data files from the SAP Service Marketplace for a specific country and release. These files contain the configuration data. For details about the right installation data file, see the Quick Guide
  • Download the related solution file from the SAP Note. This contains the business scenarios and building blocks
  • Import the solution file into your SAP system using the solution builder
  • Upload the installation data files into your SAP system using the solution builder
  • Optional: Conduct Scoping (detailed selection of business scenarios)
  • Optional: Personalize the enterprise structure
  • Download the installation data files from the solution builder to your local folder
  • Implement the scope

Personalized Documentation

SAP Best Practices also allows an update of the Business Process Documentation (BPD) based on the personalized enterprise structure.

Use the SAP Best Practices documentation adaptation to update the documentation with your personalized values. Specify the folder with the personalized installation data files downloaded from the solution builder.

Manual Implementation

Most SAP Best Practices packages are delivered with both automated activation and guides for manual configuration. SAP Best Practices documentation and tools make both options possible..

Regardless of your chosen activation method, be sure to read the Quick Guide to ensure all prerequisites are met.
