The comprehensive SAP Best Practices documentation includes the solution
scope, a function list, central master data design information, as well as standard configuration and
SAP NetWeaver Business Client POWER lists used.
Solution BriefThe Solution Brief provides the functional scope and the benefits of SAP Business-All-in-One. Solution ScopeThis document contains an overview of the scenarios and functions of the SAP Best Practices Baseline package. It explains the business purpose of each scenario and how the functions support business goals.. Function ListThe function list is an overview table that lists all processes covered by this SAP Best Practices Baseline package, and shows which scenarios support these processes. The function list also provides an overview of the SAP NetWeaver Business Client roles used in SAP Best Practices Baseline package scenarios. For more information on how to use the functions, see the business process documentation, found in the scenario description pages in the section Business Information -> Preconfigured Scenarios. Central Master Data DesignThe central master data design documents provide an overview on the structure of selected master data. Standard ConfigurationThe SAP Best Practices Baseline package uses parts of the standard configuration already delivered with the initial standard SAP system. The standard configuration overview list documents the most important configuration settings used by the SAP Best Practices Baseline package. SAP NetWeaver Business Client: POWER ListsThe POWER lists (Personal Object Work Entity Repository lists) are a tool to visualize specific business objects. Starting from the list, a user can launch transactions based on a selected business object which opens up in a new session in the client. The POWER list is the key element to enable the business object oriented navigation. They are used as central access points to manage and track object related tasks. Business users are provided with a general overview of their work environment and all related business objects (for example, billing documents). The POWER list overview outlines the POWER lists used by the SAP Best Practices Baseline package and describes in which business scenarios they are used. |
