N69 – External Financial Accounting (Basics)

Purpose

This building block provides implementation of settings for the external accounting processes in mySAP ERP 2005 which are independent of local GAAP.
Its purpose is to reduce the implementation effort and to meet the concrete requirements of your enterprise in the best possible manner.
Business Configuration Sets containing the system settings for accounting processes are used.
Together with the building block External Financial Accounting Local (N70) all settings are provided to enable external financial reporting according to German GAAP (HGB).

Function List

The building block provides functions for business processes only in combination with the N70 building block.
For further information on the supported functions for external financial accounting refer to the building block description of the N70 building block.

Key Points

The FI building blocks can be used by midsize enterprises operating on a national level, as well as by groups operating on a global level. The building blocks are based on German legislation, and are therefore recommended for usage in Germany. This building block can be used as the basis for setting up integrated solutions.
